Past couple of years,Australia has transformed from Invincible to the Ordinary.Quite an extraordinary change in
fortune for the once most feared team in the world.For about a couple of decades before that Australia were untouchable.No matter which team were thrown to them,they would gallop them all.Be it the great West Indies on the slide,be it the poms,be it the saffers or asians,they dominated all,they dominated everywhere, but now,the beast has seemingly become old and cant stand on its own.
Ever since the greats of the trade has departed from the aussie dressing room,the Australian team begun a long journey downhill.and now they are placed at the middle of the hill ,and they seem to have no firepower in them to again start their journey up.The last of the great australian that remains in this team is Great Ricky Ponting. Australia hasnt been the same without the legends like Shane Warne,Adam gilchrist,Mathew Hayden,justin langer,glenn mcgrath and brett lee.
And suddenly the top place is Wide Wide Open and up for grab.Wonder if Australia can be the same again,the same invicible team that the fans are so well accustomed to!

Dont count australia off yet.Sure,they are down but certainly not out.Remember they are still the top ranked limited over side and Australia will certainly bounce back the ladder of test cricket.
